The newcomer - Mount street Deli

Situated in the heart of Mayfair this chic new deli prides itself on using some of the finest produce available and is committed to sourcing seasonal foods. Breakfasts include freshly baked pastries, homemade granola and warm pancakes, paired with exotic coffees, the finest teas and delicious hot chocolates. We love it that a selection of the food comes from the Slow Food producers of Italy.

Secret find - La Fromagerie

I stumbled across this place a few weeks ago; it was a Monday so they had a space for me to have breakfast. I was immediately wowed by the glossy, fresh produce being showcased in rustic baskets. The smell of seasonal cucumbers and vine tomatoes was astonishingly good not to mention very appetising. The breakfast was perhaps one of the best I’ve had in London fresh orange juice, hand made granola and delicious soda bread. If you have time I would recommend you peruse their excellent range of olive oils, cookery books and essential condiments.

Best of British - Melrose and Morgan

Melrose and Morgan create a gorgeous range of foods from poached salmon, fresh sandwiches and delicious cakes. They use premium ingredients sourced by the finest suppliers, seasonal where possible. You can eat in or take away but be warned it’s not the most comfortable dining experience (although friendly) so best to take home as it’s a shame not to enjoy such good food in comfort. The informed chefs are on hand to ask questions and share cooking tips which is a nice touch.
